‘The Quarrel’ Sparkling Riesling (Sold out)
This is the third vintage of Sparkling Riesling from Ruddenklau Wines.
The vineyards were planted in the early 2000 at almost 600 metres above sea level, making it one of the highest vineyards in the Clare Valley. The low yielding vines are dry grown and planted in shallow stony soil mainly on a western facing slope. The Clare Valley is, of course, renowned for its fine Riesling, and our Sparkling Riesling is no exception. This is the third vintage of our Sparkling Riesling and tank fermentation has given this wine a beautiful fine bead. The palate shows both generosity and finesse, fresh and full of zesty flavours, the crisp finish makes it the perfect celebratory drink on its own, or it will pair brilliantly with cured salmon or fresh seafood.
This is a quarrel worth having!
